Airports in the US and around the world are changing to meet the demands of the air transportation business. Smaller carriers increasingly use regional airports as hubs for their operations. In the United States, the FAA has begun a build out of 5 regional Air Traffic Control sites, with the responsibility of tracking flights all across the country that are within a 1 mile radius of any airport.

Normally Air Traffic Control Centers have:

  • Guards and guns
  • Central data systems
  • Data security
  • Check points
  • Police and military
These regional hubs are based in remote locations and require higher levels of security. SentryPort addresses their specific needs with our Security Resource Management™ solution.

SentryPort Access™ is the first of its kind, facial recognition-based access control system. By combining CMOS camera technology with histogram-based algorithm and enhanced DVR techniques, Access allows entry to personnel with out the expense and human error of guards.

Communication to and from these sites needs to be secured without the risk of compromise. SentryPort SAFE™ enables communication, management and offsite storage of data, streaming video surveillance and access control information.

For those who maintain physical and data security at these flight control centers, managing all this data effectively and efficiently was a big problem, until the introduction of SentryPort Sentinel™. Sentinel brings physical and data systems together, mines and finally processes their disparate data through two levels of Artificial Intelligence. The result: prediction of anomalies and trends that trigger alerts, ultimately mitigating risk. SentryPort solves the problem!
